Creative SpIN – Spillovers of Innovation

Creative SpIN (Spillovers of Innovation) is a project funded under the URBACT programme, a European Exchange and Learning programme, which promotes sustainable urban development. 

URBACT aims to help cities to develop innovative, pragmatic and sustainable solutions that integrate economic, social and environmental dimensions.

Creative SpIN defines and tests tools and methods to best connect cultural and creative industries with other sectors of the economy, to stimulate “creative spillovers” that contribute to innovation. 

The Creative SpIN network involves nine European partner cities: Birmingham (UK), Bologna (Italy), Essen (Germany), Kortrijk and Mons (Belgium), Kosice (Slovakia), Óbidos (Portugal), Rotterdam (Netherlands) and Tallinn (Estonia). 

Creative SpIN partners will participate in the next CreativeCH workshop that will be held on the 16th of September in Budapest.
