Which approach to IPR in Culture? Find out more in our next workshop

In a culture dominated by user participation and content reuse, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) can be seen as a constraint to the development of collective intelligence and creativity.

Our next workshop will focus on the legal issues involving the use and reuse of cultural and intellectual contents produced by Memory and Academic Institutions, and the search for a better balance between public interest and right holders entitlement to recognition and economic reward.

The event will be hosted by Museum and the Web Florence 2014, an international conference focused on the relationship between museums and digital culture.

The workshop will be held as a pre-conference session by CreativeCH and other two FP7 funded projects, V-Must and 3D-Icons.
