The Etruscan Chariot

The reconstruction of the ancient Estruscan chariot is just beginning. A local artisan is working on it and it will be ready in a few months. The artisan is building the chariot using the images found on Etruscan vases as a model, to make it as lifelike as possible. It will be drawn by horses and will carry some of the scanned artifacts of the "Museo archeologico e d'arte della Maremma", and also food products that were typical also in the Etruscan age. A local cultural association will re-enact ancient Etruscan traditions at each stop of the itinerary.
