Carmignano tb app now available for download from iTunes!

Carmignano tb homepage

Visualization on the map of an itinerary.

Carmignano tb v1.1 is first app in our tourbook series, developed as an aid to promote our local showcase. It is available for download from the iTunes app store and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The app is optimized for iPhone 5 and requires iOS 5.0 or later. An immediate and intuitive interface allows the user to select the most suitable itineraries, while giving precious information on the points of interest along the way. A detailed interactive map guides the user step by step, detecting his/her position along the chosen route and indicating the nearest points of interest and services offered. The texts are provided in Italian and English.

Carmignano tb is a simple and complete virtual guide to discover the enchanting natural environment surrounding the hamlet of Carmignano, a locality in the province of Prato in Tuscany, which holds a great deal of historic, artistic and archaeological heritage, not to mention that it is an area rich in good wine and food specialties.

The presence of important ancient Etruscan sites and of nature paths illustrates the potential of an area that does not benefit from a very strong touristic affluence. CreativeCH, by using popular devices such as smartphones and tablets, developed an App to assist tourists in the discovery of natural and archaeological routes, whether they travel on foot, horseback or bicycle, at the same time giving travelers information on the available cultural and touristic offers and on the presence of hospitality facilities, such as food and lodgings.

Two new tourbooks will be released later this summer and will provide the same services for the other showcase locations in Maremma: Vetulonia and Roselle.
