3D Scanning is underway in Grosseto

In early November the scanning of the artifacts of the "Museo archeologico e d'arte della Maremma" begun. The museum presents some of the major artifacts recovered in the Etruscan area of Vetulonia and Roselle. This process requires time and expertise and four of our collaborators are following it step by step. Scanning of the artifacts allows people to have access to accurate copies of the original finds, without the restrictions given by their historical value. A huge audience will be able to learn about old artifacts, which would otherwise be known only by archaeology lovers.
