Banat at a small scale

Surrounded by the natural reservation Carska Bara (Elisabeth Lake), the Belo Blato village can be considered one of the most typical for the Banat region, a region with high diversity of population. As a result of discussions with Uzon Pera and Jonas Adam, we realized that this 1500 inhabitants village can represent at a small scale the cultural diversity of the region, because there are 500 Slovaks, 400 Hungarians, 200 Bulgarians, 150 Serbians and few Romanian and Gipsy families.

The day of village, September,28, represents the day of celebration through culture the good understanding between minorities and also a good opportunity to compete each other in cultural and sport fields. We agreed to participate to this celebration and, using our research tools, to contribute at cultural cooperation and also to underline the importance of same events.
