Workshop & Tour Guide: "Americans in Salzburg"

Picture for Showcases News Salzburg

Together with the University of Portland and the Salzburg City Archive, CreativeCH conducted a tour guide through the historical city of Salzburg. 33 students of the American University of Portland took the opportunity to learn more about the history of Americans in Salzburg in the period between 1945 and 1955.

IT support allowed the students to look at historical photo material and provide comments on their smartphones and tablets during the tour. It will also allow them to create their own tours through the city of Salzburg.

Prior to the tour guide, a workshop on cultural heritage in Salzburg and their own perceptions was conducted with the students.

More information on the workshop as well as the tour guide will be provided soon on the CreativeH website as well as the local showcase site.
