Etnojazz

In a sunny Sunday afternoon, one of the most interesting bookshop in Timisoara hosted a wonderful representation of a music group, Remus Novac Band and one of the most applauded moments was an etnojazz performing. The popular melodies that inspired the etnojazz lines are originated from a plain part of Banat region (in Serbia) and there were collected by the accordionist Stefan Besu, born in Iancaid, one of the small villages where we researched the cultural heritage aspects. This interesting combination between a classical music lines and ethnographic influences can be an opportunity to promote high quality music and reflect the specificity of cultural heritage in the same time.
